Your New Favourite Apple Crisp
This apple crisp is one of the best things I've ever made! I took inspiration from apple crisp recipes on the internet and came up with this one.
Also, I used text on the image for the first time! Let me know how you like it.
Recipe (Two Servings)
Ingredients:
Two medium-sized apples, cut into bite-sized pieces
One teaspoon of cinnamon
Half a teaspoon of lemon juice
One tablespoon of powdered sugar
One-third cup of brown sugar
One-fourth cup of all-purpose flour
One-fourth cup of oats
Half a teaspoon of cinnamon
One-fourth cup of cold salted butter
Instructions:
1) Preheat the oven to 175 degrees Celsius.
2) In a medium-sized bowl, add the cut apples, a teaspoon of cinnamon, powdered sugar, and lemon juice. Set aside.
3) In a separate bowl, add brown sugar, all-purpose flour, and oats. Mix well.
4) Add the cold butter to the flour mixture. Mix well with your hands until pea-sized pieces form.
5) Add the apples to a baking dish. Top with the crumble. Sprinkle half a teaspoon of cinnamon on top of the crumble.
6) Bake for 40 minutes. Enjoy warm!
Optionally, you can prepare a custard as well.
Serves two
Ingredients:
Three-fourth of a cup of milk
One tablespoon of powdered sugar
One tablespoon of custard powder
Instructions:
1) Combine all the ingredients in a saucepan. Whisk until combined.
2) Continuously whisk on low heat until the custard thickens (about 5 minutes). Cool until ready to serve.
Enjoy! :)
