The Crispiest Garlic Bread You'll Ever Make

Writer's picture: SaraSara

Day 363 (27th August)

I made these baked garlic bread pieces for breakfast. 10/10, would recommend.

Here’s the recipe:

Ingredients:

  • Eight small slices of bread (I cut mine from a subway multigrain bread)

  • Two and a half tablespoons of softened butter

  • Five to six cloves of garlic

  • Half a teaspoon of mixed herbs

  • Half a cup of shredded Gouda cheese

  • Optional: dip of your choice and extra mixed herbs

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.

  2. Mince the garlic or use a garlic press to crush the garlic cloves.

  3. Combine the softened butter with the garlic and mixed herbs.

  4. Spread the garlic butter evenly on the bread slices.

  5. Sprinkle the shredded Gouda on the breads.

  6. Bake them on a baking tray lined with parchment paper for 10 to 15 minutes or until the cheese has melted and the bread is golden brown and crispy on the BOTTOM.

  7. Serve fresh out of the oven with a dip of your choice (I used fresh salsa). Also, optionally sprinkle with more mixed herbs!

That’s about it. Let me know if you try this recipe out :)
