Not Baking: Almond Latte

I've been craving coffee for a while now! Especially the fancy coffee you get in a café while reading a book. So, I decided to make my own version at home.
Using an electric whisk, I whipped up half a cup of powdered sugar, three tablespoons of hot water, and one-fourth of a cup of coffee till soft peaks formed. Then, I boiled a cup of almond milk.
I added a tablespoon of the coffee mixture to the boiled almond milk and whisked till frothy. I served the coffee in two small cups and topped it with some cocoa powder.
I refrigerated the rest of the coffee mixture for later use.
This was an okay-ish coffee. It tasted a bit too much like almonds for my liking, so I would either add more coffee or reduce the amount of milk.
Would I make this again? Probably not very often. I like regular beaten coffee more than this coffee.
