No-Bake Cake

Day 224 (10th April)

I came across the recipe for this no-bake cake recently, and I fell in love with it! Emma comes through with another delicious and easy-to-make dish.

Apparently, the tiramisu ladyfingers use the same recipe as sponge cake? I did not know that. After soaking them, they do taste like cakes, so that makes sense. :o Why are we so dumb as a society? Scratch that — that's probably just me.

Anyway, I've been loving Derry Girls recently, so I added my favourite Clare quote on top of the cake. For the icing, I mixed a bunch of old different coloured buttercream frostings, heavy whipping cream, lemon curd, and cookie icing. It surprisingly turned out to be a beautiful colour!

Also, I made the "cake" in an old box. Not sure how sanitary that was.
