Nachos But Make It Indian
Day 192 (9th March)
THESE CORN TORTILLA NACHOS ARE MY NEW FAVOURITE "HEALTHY" SNACK. I've been seeing healthy nachos everywhere, and I finally decided to make my own recipe!
Ingredients
5 corn tortillas or "makki ki roti" (store-bought or homemade)
2 ripe tomatoes
1 onion
1 tbsp lemon juice
Masalas of choice (I used red chilli powder, salt, pepper, and chaat masala)
1/4 cup shredded cheese
Cheese dip
Recipe
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
Cut the corn tortillas into any shape you like.
Spread them on a greased oven tray.
Spread some salt and chaat masala on the "chips" and mix.
Bake them for about 25-30 minutes or until crispy.
Till then, chop the tomatoes and onion.
Add them to a blender with the lemon juice, red chilli powder, salt, and pepper. Adjust the spices according to your liking.
Blend for about 30 seconds to make a salsa.
Let the chips cool for about 5 minutes.
Spread the nachos on a serving dish.
Add the salsa on top along with your favourite cheese dip.
Sprinkle shredded cheese.
Enjoy!
