Nachos But Make It Indian

THESE CORN TORTILLA NACHOS ARE MY NEW FAVOURITE "HEALTHY" SNACK. I've been seeing healthy nachos everywhere, and I finally decided to make my own recipe!

Ingredients

  • 5 corn tortillas or "makki ki roti" (store-bought or homemade)

  • 2 ripe tomatoes

  • 1 onion

  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

  • Masalas of choice (I used red chilli powder, salt, pepper, and chaat masala)

  • 1/4 cup shredded cheese

  • Cheese dip

Recipe

  • Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.

  • Cut the corn tortillas into any shape you like.

  • Spread them on a greased oven tray.

  • Spread some salt and chaat masala on the "chips" and mix.

  • Bake them for about 25-30 minutes or until crispy.

  • Till then, chop the tomatoes and onion.

  • Add them to a blender with the lemon juice, red chilli powder, salt, and pepper. Adjust the spices according to your liking.

  • Blend for about 30 seconds to make a salsa.

  • Let the chips cool for about 5 minutes.

  • Spread the nachos on a serving dish.

  • Add the salsa on top along with your favourite cheese dip.

  • Sprinkle shredded cheese.

  • Enjoy!
