Day 40 (08/10): Masala Chai

I made masala chai today! It's not technically baking, but I really wanted to upload this recipe, so I am. :)
Recipe (One Serving)
Ingredients:
Half a cup of water
Two teaspoons of tea leaves
About half a teaspoon of grated ginger
Two crushed cardamom pods
Half a cup of milk (decrease depending on taste, add an equal quantity of water)
Jaggery powder, to taste
Instructions:
1) Add the water and tea leaves to a saucepan. Leave it to simmer for about two minutes.
2) Add in the crushed cardamom pods and grated ginger. Simmer for about 5 minutes.
3) Add the milk. Simmer for about a minute until done.
4) Sieve into a cup. Add jaggery powder to taste. Enjoy warm!
