Day 63 (31/10): Peanut Butter Cups
In the spirit of Halloween, I decided to make my rendition of Reese's peanut butter cups. It takes hardly any time to make these, and you can hand these out like Halloween candy! All you have to do is melt some chocolate and assemble the cups.
Recipe
1) To make one cup, melt 50 grams of milk chocolate.
2) Add about half of the melted chocolate to a muffin liner greased with oil.
3) Then, add about a teaspoon of peanut butter in the middle.
4) Top with the remaining chocolate.
5) Finally, freeze these for about 10 minutes or until they are completely set.
Notes:
Use extra muffin liners to support the cup. It helps to keep the shape of the peanut butter cups, and you can reuse them after using them as support.
Use good quality milk chocolate since it does make a difference. Do not use milk compound here since it doesn't taste too good plain.
Let the cups sit in the refrigerator for about half an hour before you eat them – else, they might be too hard to eat!
These are a great treat to make with your friends (or family). I made these with my dad in under 15 minutes before dinner, and we had quite a bit of fun!
We ate the cups frozen, which wasn't ideal. I might give this recipe another go to perfect it, and also because it's so simple.

See you tomorrow!
