Day 95 (02/12): Biscotti

THIS BISCOTTI IS QUITE LITERALLY THE BEST THING I HAVE EVER MADE.


I used this Biscotti recipe from Bake with Shivesh and topped it with melted chocolate and freeze-dried strawberries. It tasted just as good (scratch that — even BETTER) as it looked.


Biscotti means "twice-baked." The method consists of making a dense loaf and then cutting it into biscuit-sized pieces. After that, you put the pieces back into the oven to dry out.


I've always loved biscotti, and I was so excited to make it for the first time! Also, this biscotti was a healthier version, so how can you say no to that?
