All The Way From Assam

My new favourite use of glutinous rice is for til pitha. Mochi, get a move on. There's a new food in town!
(Yes, I am cringing just a little reading this.)
I used this recipe to make til pitha, and it was so delicious! The only problem I had was the pithas getting fused together because I wanted a pretty picture of a roll. Still tasted delicious, though.
Also, I substituted the black sesame seeds with white ones — I do not believe it made much of a difference. Black sesame seeds are apparently more fragrant and flavourful. I'll have to see for next time!
PS: The picture doesn't do the dish justice. Try it. You will like it.
