Sometimes bakes fail. And it sucks. (This is an unedited, shaky picture)
I made this SUPER cute rainbow-coloured swiss roll yesterday. The colours in the batter looked way too good to be true — turns out it was because I somehow ruined my swiss roll.
Let me back up a little.
I made this swiss roll in the evening. I was happily singing along to my playlist when I realised that I didn't have any whipped cream. It's so tough to find good-quality whipped cream. It takes at least two days' notice to order it.
Still, I was undeterred, and I decided to walk down to the grocery store and buy another brand of whipped cream and cream cheese to make a delicious filling. It turns out the whipped cream I bought was mostly water, and the cream cheese tasted way too tangy to be alright.
I tried my best, but I still ended up with a goopy mess.
I want to redo this. I'll upload the recipe when I do. :)
