Day 104 (11/12): Flan

I was so intimidated by the idea of flan, but it turns out that it's actually not that hard to make it.


The thing that was troubling me the most (in terms of difficulty) was the water bath. But, I just used a baking pan with water in it, and it turned out all good.


There were a few air bubbles in the flan — maybe because I didn't fill the water bath all the way up? Air bubbles are caused due to high temperatures, so I do believe that that's a likely explanation.


But, air bubbles or not, the flan was delicious, and I'd make it again. :D

Also, I used this recipe since it was one of the few that did not require evaporated milk!
